Every sound was the final exhibition at the Center for Ongoing Research & Projects (COR&P) before it permanently closed in October 2016. The exhibit included objects and materials related to my continuing development of Thoreau’s Desk (requires some assembly) — a piece conceived for percussion trio and first performed at the deCordova Sculpture Garden and Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts. For my exhibit at COR&P, I published the plan and score for Thoreau’s Desk and produced a false postcard of Pablo Picasso’s drawing, Guitar, from 1912.
